# Sprint 2: Aligning with Core Values

To appreciate the Core Values of Societal Thinking, surface and resolve tensions and align on what to hold steady while orchestrating positive exponential change

Our beliefs have a profound effect on our actions. Anchored in the big question, we arrive at a shared understanding of how we will work towards our big question anchored in the Core Values of Societal Thinking. Together, we will surface the tensions that may emerge due to the context we are in, related power structures, and motivations and incentives of the ecosystem that we need to orchestrate. Here we discover what we must hold steady on the journey ahead.

**Pre-requisite:** The big question and the list of key friction that impede progress towards it

**Pre-requisite:** An updated version of the design document (SDA5) based on sprint 1 outputs

**Downloadable assets** that are useful for preparing for / facilitating this sprint:

* S2A3: A slide deck to help learn and assimilate the Core Values
* S2A4: A guide to enable those who want to facilitate this sprint

**Post-work:** Key tensions / concerns surfaced and decisions regarding how to resolve them

**Post-work:** An updated version of the design document (SDA5) based on sprint 2 outputs

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://wiki.societalthinking.org/how-to-apply/the-sprints/sprint-2-aligning-with-core-values.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
