# Sprint 6: Enabling open infrastructure

To establish a shared foundation of societal narrative, effective policies, digital infrastructure, and orchestration capacity that enables exponential change, together.

To mobilise the ecosystem, we must reduce the cost and complexity of making change thereby enabling many actors to solve problems. Aligning the ecosystem with a societal narrative and effective policies reduces silos and miscoordination. Leveraging open infrastructure and sharing resources reduces the cost of coordination and transaction. Every airline does not build their own airport, neither does everyone build their own Internet.

**Pre-requisite:** Actions / initiatives to assess and improve the ability of key ecosystem actors

**Pre-requisite:** An updated version of the design document (SDA5) based on sprint 5 outputs

**Downloadable assets** that are useful for preparing for / facilitating this sprint:

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://wiki.societalthinking.org/how-to-apply/the-sprints/sprint-6-enabling-open-infrastructure.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
