# Sprint 7: Listening and progressing

To design a scalable people-centred approach to listen to the key actors, learn, and continuously course-correct to make steady progress towards addressing the big question.

It is difficult to observe and learn about the progress and impact of initiatives implemented across a complex system. However, the ground truth is in the real voices of the people being enabled and served by these initiatives. Now, it is possible to listen to people at scale, learn from the listening, act on the learning and observe the progress being made in addressing their challenges in a complex system. The voice of the people is data!

**Pre-requisite:** Actions / initiatives to leverage / enable / develop various open infrastructure

**Pre-requisite:** An updated version of the design document (SDA5) based on sprint 6 outputs

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://wiki.societalthinking.org/how-to-apply/the-sprints/sprint-7-listening-and-progressing.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
